Vintage Metal Golfer Sculpture, 1972#
I found no information on this piece, the closest I found was a Dawn Weimer who does Bronze statues in Colorado. Not sure if this is a work she did as she got into doing metal sculptures, but she as been married for 57 years so was the only weimer I found. The Bottom is stamp E.D. Weimer 1972, so not sure her biography said she raised Quarter horses till 1982, before sculpting if like most artist they may have goofed around with other items till they found their knack.
Anyways there is no damage to the piece, it is made from a rail way nail, metal plate and thick metal rods to form the golfer. Would presume no two pieces be exactly the same so would be unique piece for a golfer as a gift.
The piece sits on about a 5" piece of metal, stands about 10" tall.
