Vintage Otagiri Teapot, Cat in Santa suit, hand painted in Japan.
Otagiri was in business for many years until they were bought out by Enesco, I put 1970's but could be early 80's also since they used the label from the 1970's to mainly San Francisco area.
This piece is very hard to find and still as the plastic covering on pour spout to protect it from getting chipped or crack when pouring.
There are no cracks or chips I could see and paint is still fresh with no crackling. Great addition to a fine ceramic collector or teapot collector.
