These were together with coins in them, I am unsure of the age of the Coin Holder, The Metal Box with intricate Rose and scrolling says Made in Occupied Japan.
I am unsure what the sides are made of for coin purse has a wave to them so was thinking maybe Mother of Pearl but didn't want it in title in case I am wrong but could be a form of early plastic that was just made that way since about the same thickness. It had flowers and a saying across top which I am unsure what it says now and only ones I could find is from 1890's. The sides are a little loose but still attached the glue from the years is letting loose some showing the age of the piece. I belief this was my grandmother's back in the day and the Box was my mom's.
The Metal box looks like it had white felt in it at one time or such for jewelry or rings. It does have some discoloring on front which I belief may come off but not sure, from looks of it most likely when my mom had fire at house I grew up in the middle 90's.
The Box is about 3" x 2" x 1", the Coin Purse is about 2 1/2 wide and 2" tall.
