I didn't have a C battery to test this, but battery compartment is clean. Pushes the keys I get some sound so with battery it should work, but hard to guarantee it 100%. At its age more a collector item of toys from the past then to be actually used.
Problems, it was extremely dirty I cleaned it, but some dirt may be in areas I couldn't get to. It appears to open and with all the slots and such some dirt may be inside that needs to be cleaned. It has a small hairline crack doesn't move or make item less stable can see in last picture, but I notice it so mentioning here it is on back and near lip so hard to see.
Last Problem is the sticker that should be above the keys is missing that would read Big Mouth Singers with color keys and other info.
Should be most likely for parts or if you can reproduce the sticker possibility.
