Vintage Checkered Flag, Indianapolis 500 "The Brickyard" Checkered Flag#
I am unsure when this flag was used, they changed these for a souvenir flag every year or so from the looks of it, I belief this one is a early version since they got fancier and more detail as the years went by.
The flag is in pretty good shape with a little fraying on edges and a tape mark from someone who taped it to get it rolled up.
Flag is about 17" by 17" square.
The stick holding it has a slight curve to it not horrible, but it is not totally straight.
I only saw one that look like this for sale, but he didn't know year either.
