Some of these were made for years from research these are either late 30's or 40's. Some do have some cracks due to age and storage most likely. I tried if multiple to take picture of worse one in my opinion.
You would unscrew bulb put this over the metal piece and put bulb back in, for these with age and such more a collector item than being used so would buy to display in case or such since old plastic and fragile. Orange Disney has been repaired.
